Muncie Mission Ministries offers short- and long-term support. This includes immediate and/or long term for the working poor and needy of East Central Indiana, including Delaware and Blackford County. Receive payments for utility bills, emergency rental assistance, lunches, and eviction prevention. Call 765-288-9122 for information.

Energy Assistance Program, or EAP, can help pay heating bills, and a crisis component can help those faced with an emergency. The Weatherization Program can also help people save money on their energy bills. Grants and cash assistance is offered. 765-254-1790.

Delaware County Division of Family Social Services administers the IMPACT program. This is an employment and job training program for food stamp and TANF recipients. The IMPACT program takes a multigenerational approach to addressing welfare dependency and helping people become self-sufficient. Dial 765-668-5341.
