MUNCIE, Ind. — After temporarily halting in-person visits due to an uptick in COVID-19 cases back in December, the Muncie Public Library will reopen its branches to the public on Monday, March 15.
Starting next week, both Kennedy Library and Maring-Hunt Library will be open 1-5 p.m. daily. According to a press release, visits will be limited to 30 minutes or less for patrons to find books, pick up holds, make copies and receive reference assistance.
The “Grab & Go” service was implemented when the library first opened back up in September, and is designed to, “get customers in and out with their desired items efficiently and safely,” MPL Director Akilah S. Nosakhere said.
